Petit Pli, founded by Ryan Mario Yasin, has been recognised by the James Dyson Foundation as one of Britain’s most innovative inventions. Winner of the 2017 UK James Dyson Award, Petit Pli creates expandable baby clothes that grow with children aged six to 36 months. Designed using auxetic pleats and aerospace principles, these sustainable children's clothes reduce waste, support active play, and cut down on the £2,000 typically spent on clothing in the first three years of life. This milestone cements Petit Pli’s place in the future of design-led kidswear and responsible fashion innovation.
