Prepare to be amazed as we introduce you to Young V&A, a groundbreaking museum that celebrates the boundless imagination and creativity of children located in Bethnal Green, London. As the V&A Museum approaches its 150th anniversary, the Museum of Childhood has undergone a remarkable transformation.

Opening on July 1st, 2023, this national museum is designed to engage young minds, providing an immersive platform for learning, creating, problem-solving and designing for the future.

We are thrilled to be part of this exciting endeavour. Petit Pli's purposeful designs, promoting sustainability and responsible consumption are showcased in the Design Gallery. Visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to explore our sustainable fashion solution and learn about the origin of the clothes that grow idea.

Child and adult explore exhibits in the bright Young V&A gallery, with accessible design, interactive displays and inclusive spaces for creativity and play.

The exhibition galleries of Play, Imagine, and Design are filled with creativity and wonder. Alongside Petit Pli, renowned makers such as Bridget Riley, Issey Miyake, Christopher Raeburn and Yves Behar will inspire young visitors.

BEHIND THE EXHIBIT: DESIGN MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Fast fashion, the world's second largest polluter, contributes to environmental damage and waste. Petit Pli's designs offers hope by creating expandable clothing for children that grows with them.

Petit Pli's exhibit details the journey of Petit Pli's evolution from a student project in 2017 to a material technology by displaying objects from 2017-2022 from its Hackney Wick Studio. Objects include initial concept prototypes, sketches and samples alongside designs and packaging now readily available from on petitpli.com.
