    Colour:

These cranes are made in Manchester, by Another Knitted Thing.

The origami crane is originally a Japanese symbol for peace, love, hope and healing with paper cranes being gifted to wish them well. The idea that someone who has folded 1000 cranes will be granted a wish is still a tradition today. These cranes is part of a  not-quite-but-technically-limited series of 1000.

Knitted purely for fun, this knitted origami crane is a fun gift or trinket for anyone, childlike or adult. The crane can be unfolded and folded up again countless times and the structure will still remain.

It is advised to give the crane a gentle steam to unfold the wings a little more once it arrives. Use the steam function on the iron and hold it a couple of centimetres away from the top and steam until you watch the wings gently relax down. Leave the crane to cool.

    Care:

If needed, this crane can be very gently washed in knit detergent by hand. Leave to soak then press out the water with the crane folded in shape. Leave to dry. Do not wring or place in the washing machine.
