RE-PLEAT Specialist Restoration Service

Recycled ripstop with a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent finish. Designed for weather, wear and movement.

  1. 30°C gentle washMild liquid detergent. Wash with similar colours.
  2. No fabric softenerIt stops the water-repellent finish from working.
  3. Lay flat to dryNever hang it wet. No tumble dryer, no iron, no bleach.

Rain beads and rolls off thanks to the water-repellent finish. It fades with wear and washing, which is normal. When rain stops beading, reproof with a spray such as Nikwax TX.Direct while the garment is still damp. Never tumble dry or apply heat: it can damage the pleats.

The pleats reset with wear and a gentle horizontal tug. They do not fall out in the wash.

Our specialist restoration service in London. We carefully disassemble, restore the garment’s embedded structure, and reassemble it for prolonged use over years to come.

When to ask for RE-PLEAT:

We understand that life can be busy and washing accidents happen. Although our items should be exclusively washed in cold water (30°C max) and in delicate wash bags, garments can still sometimes get hidden between other laundry during wash cycles.

That’s why we offer our RE-PLEAT service. It is only available for our childrenswear.

While all our garments are covered by a lifetime warranty, RE-PLEAT is the only service not included, as it does not relate to a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear.

How to send your item in for RE-PLEAT:

  1. Contact us with your request & images

  2. We will review and approve your enquiry

  3. Place your order once approved

  4. Send the item to us for processing

As soon as your garment arrives with us, we will email you to confirm receipt. The re-pleating lead time is approximately 4 weeks, although we always aim to complete all work sooner where possible.

  • We ship to most places around the world. Our LittleHuman community spans 57 countries.

    We offer a hassle-free 60-day return period for most purchases, giving you ample time to decide if your item is right for you.

    For gift orders, which must include a greeting card or gift wrap, we provide an extended 90-day return period. This allows recipients extra time to return or exchange their gift while ensuring their favorite design doesn’t go out of stock.
