Petit Pli proudly unveils Print 13, a groundbreaking collaboration with New York-based artist Shawna X. Launching on 8 July, Sing Body Electric fuses art, fashion and technology into vibrant, surreal designs for Clothes that Grow. Known for her bold explorations of identity, creativity and motherhood, Shawna X brings her visionary style to wearable form. This first US collaboration reflects Petit Pli’s mission to push boundaries and inspire LittleHumans and TallHumans alike.

Step into Young V&A, the ultimate museum for children in Bethnal Green, London. Opening July 2023, this national space celebrates creativity, play and design. Petit Pli is proud to showcase Clothes That Grow in the Design Gallery, highlighting sustainable fashion and responsible consumption. Alongside world-renowned makers, our exhibit traces Petit Pli’s journey from concept to innovation.

Petit Pli’s Print 12, created with artist Petra Eriksson, is inspired by the graceful manta ray. Using bold lines and vibrant colours, Petra captures the fluid movement of rays gliding through the ocean, echoing the manta’s Spanish name, meaning blanket or cloak. Her design transforms beautifully on Clothes that Grow, where folds shift the artwork into new abstract forms. With a love for animals that swim or fly, Petra’s Fever Ray print invites LittleHumans to explore play, colour and imagination.

Petit Pli collaborates with Melbourne-based artist Carla McRae to create Print 11: Grass Jungle. Inspired by magnified grasslands and childlike curiosity, Carla’s playful illustrations celebrate nature’s micro-worlds. Her work blends minimalism, bold colour, and joyful observation, perfect for LittleHumans who nestle into grassy patches to explore. Petit Pli collaborates with Finnish designer Lotta Maija to bring bold fruit and floral prints to life on Clothes That Grow. Inspired by Finnish folk art and Japanese detail, Lotta’s playful shapes and supernatural colours spark imagination in LittleHumans. Her visual world celebrates creativity, curiosity, and childlike wonder, perfect for Petit Pli’s comfort range. Step into Lotta’s world and explore her joyful, nature-inspired designs.

Meet Petit Pli’s enchanting Mission Crew mascots, crafted from 100 percent recycled offcuts to champion zero waste design. Each companion, Ivy, Luna and Cassie, carries an intergalactic story inspired by space exploration, making them the perfect partners for MiniHumans on everyday adventures. Handcrafted in London from durable ripstop polyester, these colourful mascots embody sustainability, creativity and play. Available at the Young V&A Museum Shop, they invite children to imagine without limits.

Petit Pli’s Print 09 comes to life through a collaboration with Chinese-born illustrator and animator Yukai Du. Known for her vibrant, imaginative worlds, Yukai uses colour and movement to simplify complex ideas like science and space. Her work has featured with Adobe, Apple and the New Yorker, and now her playful vision animates Petit Pli’s Clothes that Grow. Designed for LittleHumans to explore and immerse themselves in, Print 09 celebrates creativity, imagination and discovery.

Petit Pli’s Print 08 was created in collaboration with Marc David Spengler, a young artist from Stuttgart whose bold graphic style transforms simple geometric shapes into expressive forms. Inspired by his early graffiti experiments, Marc shifted from letters to abstract shapes to better convey emotion. Having worked with brands like Van’s, Hermes and Warby Parker, Marc now brings his unique vision to Petit Pli, blending harmony, colour and creativity into designs for LittleHumans.

Petit Pli’s Entropy Vest is a breakthrough in wearable innovation featured in Dezeen, Fast Company and more. Using thermochemical magic, it delivers instant warmth without electronics, adapting to your body and climate. Designed to reduce e-waste and enhance emotional durability, the Entropy Vest redefines thermal regulation in fashion. A cooling version is coming soon. Petit Pli’s Print 03, created with artist Jonathan Lawes, is featured in Kidorama: 200 Years of Children’s Fashion at the Fashion & Lace Museum in Brussels. This retrospective explores the evolution of childrenswear, from gender roles to unisex design and sustainability. Our Clothes That Grow, expanding up to 7 sizes, reduce waste and carbon footprint while celebrating colour, geometry and innovation.
