KNOT-TILE | CLOTHES THAT GROW IN MERINO WOOL
We’ve perfected water resistant outerwear and have had our sights on warmer layers for the cold months for a couple of years now. Our aim was to build a modular childrens wardrobe that could be tweaked over the seasons and grow over the years. Knot-tile is our answer, an expandable auxetic knotted structure made from 100% extra fine merino wool.
KNOT-TILE LAUNCH COUNTDOWN

Garment Readiness Levels
We couldn’t help but be inspired by the ‘Technology Readiness Levels’ created by NASA in the 1970s. As part of our design methodology, we’ve built upon this to develop Garment Readiness Levels. It helps us push ideas into reality.
Zero Waste... Almost
When making traditional woven garments, there is off-cut waste material. For our versatile ripstop collections we turn that waste into mascots. With Knot-Tile®, the novel manufacturing method allows us to design waste out of the process from the beginning. This is the total waste resulting from a single Knot-Tile® Vest. It weights just 2.8 grams and is biodegradable.
Wool: Nature’s Techiest Textile
Contrary to past assessments, a comprehensive view of wool’s life cycle showcases its sustainable advantages, from being a natural carbon store to excelling in durability and recyclability & biodegradability. In the use stage, wool’s self-cleaning ability reduces the need for frequent washing, making it a low-maintenance choice in an era dominated by fast fashion.
