A Guide to Student Art + Design Shows in London this Summer

Summertime calls for the student showcase events of the year. In terms of where to go, what to see, and what collections will be displayed, Petit Pli has you covered!

We’ve compiled a list of this year’s student art and design shows taking place all around London this summer.

To make things a little easier for you, each show is listed chronologically so that you can best plan out what you want to see.

The Bartlett Summer Show
Dates: 21 June - 6 July
School: University College London

“The Bartlett Summer Show 2024 will showcase the architectural work of over 900 students, displayed across six floors throughout our Bloomsbury home at 22 Gordon Street, London. The exhibition will include a diverse collection of student models, drawings, films, multimedia installations and digital fabrications – encouraging a thoughtful dialogue between students and visitors about the future of architecture and its part to play in shaping the world we live in.”

New Designers Showcase
Dates: 26-29 June, 3-6 July
Company: New Designers

“New Designers is an annual London showcase of the UK’s most innovative emerging design talent. Since its inception 39 years ago, New Designers has provided a platform for over 3,000 graduates every year to present their visionary ideas to industry professionals and the public. The event takes place over two weeks, with different disciplines highlighted in Week 1 and Week 2, spanning fashion, textiles, furniture, product design, illustration, and more.”

Grad Fest 2024
Dates: 27 June - 5 July
School: Norwich University of the Arts

Camberwell College of Arts Postgraduate Fine Art and Design Shows
Dates: 1-6 July, 8-11 July
School: University of the Arts London

The shows will feature fine art and design work from postgraduate students specializing in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, design, graphic design, illustration, and interior design.

Postgraduate Fine Art Show
Dates: 2-5 July
School: Chelsea College of Arts

“Celebrate our graduating MA Fine Art and MA Curating and Collections students.” The show will feature postgraduate art specializing in fine art and curating.

New Blood Festival 2024 Graduate Showcase
