About the Pattern in Play Series
This print collaboration between Petit Pli and the V&A Museum brings together art, innovation and childrenswear. The limited-edition collection reimagines archival artworks from the V&A through Petit Pli’s innovative patented pleated structure, celebrating a world where tradition and technology grow side by side.

This series invites LittleHumans to discover familiar shapes and stories that echo from their clothing into the world around them.
Each artwork was picked to reflect the ever-evolving spirit of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s national collection, and to speak in a visual language little eyes can understand.
Meet the Artists
Katsushika Hokusai
One of Japan’s most celebrated artists, best known for The Great Wave off Kanagawa but also created over 70,000 works of art.

Mary Yonge
Known for her bold, playful patterns of the 1960s and 70s, Yonge’s Puzzle Weave print is full of fun, where hidden shapes invite a second look.

Kathleen Kersey
Kersey worked with Morris & Co, a group of artists and makers. Her soft, flowing patterns were inspired by nature and became part of the Arts and Crafts style.

Simply adjust the baby-safe velcro tab at the ankle whenever worn. The elasticated waist will only need adjustment every 3 months, as the child grows.
