NKITH | Petit Pli x New Kids in The House

Introducing our New Kids in the House collaboration – Turning Offcuts into Adventures

At Petit Pli, we’re always looking for creative ways to minimise waste while maximising imagination. That’s why we’re thrilled to team up with New Kids in the House to create something truly special—a signature hat crafted from Petit Pli offcuts, brought to life with the unmistakable creativity and craftsmanship of New Kids in the House.

This collaboration isn’t just about reducing waste—it’s about reimagining it. Together, we’re transforming leftover fabrics into adventurer-ready hats that celebrate sustainable design, thoughtful craftsmanship, and the spirit of exploration.

These aren’t just hats—they’re statements of creativity and purpose, ready for any adventure. But behind every brim is a story, and we couldn’t wait to dive into their world.

Inside the Hat Box – The World of NKITH

What’s the first stitch in your process?
“Our process starts with an idea—then it’s straight to fabric or the sewing machine. Brainstorming and refining follow. It’s a hands-on journey, but every step brings us closer to the perfect piece.”

How do you pick fabrics with a past?
“We source materials with history—corduroy from Germany’s oldest producer or cotton that would’ve been discarded. It’s about trust and connection with the people behind the fabrics, and turning waste into something meaningful.”

What makes these hats adventurer-approved?
“We treat each hat like a little baby—crafted with care from start to finish. This love ensures durability and a sense of adventure in every stitch, making them ready for anything.”

How do Hamdi’s skills shine here?
“Hamdi, with decades of experience, is our expert craftsman. His precision and passion elevate every piece. He’s the heart of our process, turning simple materials into extraordinary creations.”

What’s been the most rewarding part?
“Collaborations like this! Bringing together different ideas, people, and places keeps us inspired. Our team feels like family, and every day is a celebration of creativity and community.”
