Formaldehyde testing

All fabrics are tested for formaldehyde and other restricted substances in line with UK and EU regulations. Our materials are Oeko-Tex certified or tested to equivalent non-toxic standards, meaning they are verified safe for direct contact with skin.

Responsible wool

Our merino is RWS approved (Responsible Wool Standard), which covers animal welfare and land management at the farm. It is 100% extra fine merino, so it is soft enough for newborn skin, with no scratch.

No chemicals used to make it grow

The growth is knitted in. Our Tech-Knit technique builds folded knots and tensions into the structure of the knit itself, so nothing is coated or sprayed on to make it expand.

Yes. Merino insulates when it is cold and breathes when it is warm, so it works as a layer from autumn through to spring. It is naturally temperature regulating, which keeps them cosy without overheating.

Yes. The knit expands and moves with your child rather than pulling against them, which is what wears knitwear out. Wool is also naturally stain and odour resistant, so it needs far fewer washes. If it ever gets a hole, our Free Repair Guarantee covers it.

Less often than you think. Wool is naturally stain and odour resistant, so everyday marks come off with a damp cloth and airing it overnight near an open window freshens it. Independent testing suggests a wool vest needs washing around three times a year.

When it does need a wash, use a cold, gentle cycle and a wool detergent. Avoid ordinary detergents with enzymes, which break down the fibres. Dry flat, never tumble dry, and there is no ironing.

No. We use extra fine merino, which has a much finer fibre than ordinary wool, so it sits soft against the skin. It is Oeko-Tex certified and tested safe for direct skin contact.
