Formaldehyde testing

All fabrics are tested for formaldehyde and other restricted substances in line with UK and EU regulations. Our materials are Oeko-Tex certified or tested to equivalent non-toxic standards, meaning they are verified safe for direct contact with skin.

No PFAS or fluorocarbons in our DWR

For our water resistant outerwear, we use a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. That means no PFAS, no PFCs and no “forever chemicals”. Our coating technology is certified free from fluorocarbons, so you get performance without unnecessary chemical risk.

No chemicals used to create the folding mechanism

The expanding function of our garments is mechanical, not chemical. The pleats are engineered through structure and heat-setting techniques, not through coatings or chemical treatments that sit on the surface. Nothing is sprayed or added to make it “grow”. It is always built into the textile itself.
