Hello World. Hello You.

Here at Petit Pli, we’re preparing to enter Orbit! With our Pioneer Programme launch behind us and feedback rolling in, we’re working toward the final iteration of our garments. The Pioneer Programme was launched this August with 100 sets and amazingly sold out in one weekend, leaving us overwhelmed with gratitude. We’re excited for what’s to come and we’ll be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at our process. But, for now, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s been a part of our journey so far and to welcome those who are just joining us.

In the past year, as Petit Pli’s garments went from prototype to reality, our technology was featured in hundreds of publications world-wide, amassed millions of views in online video, and displayed in several domestic and international design exhibitions. It won, among others, the 2017 UK James Dyson Award for Design Engineering, was named one of Fast Company’s 100 World Changing Ideas 2018 and was most recently one of six innovations to be short-listed for the 2018 Dezeen Awards in the Wearable Design category, alongside Google.

We’re creating sustainability-focused fashion for the future of humanity, starting with the next generation. Children are dynamic, energetic and fearless: the ultimate extreme athletes. They grow rapidly, both mentally and physically, and are constantly learning. They’re curious and adventurous, and we’re bringing these same qualities to our innovation.

But our mission at Petit Pli goes beyond childrenswear. We’re honoured to be a part of a greater collective of designers and brands who are leading the way toward industry-wide sustainability. By staying informed and sharing what we learn, we’re hoping to help reduce waste, encourage positive change, and instil slow-fashion values in all humans.

So, we’ll be using this space to keep you updated about our brand — and our world. We’d love to hear from you, connect with you, and learn from you!

Over & Out,

the Petit Pli Team
